Machine Tool Technologies Ltd handed RoSPA Gold Award for health and safety practices

Machine Tool Technologies Ltd, based in Padiham, has been handed a prestigious award in recognition of its practices and achievements in helping its staff get home safely at the end of the working day.
Machine Tool Technologies Ltd has achieved a Gold in the internationally-renowned RoSPA Health and Safety Awards, the longest-running industry awards scheme in the UK.
MTT Service Director, Gary Christison received the award on behalf of the company during a ceremony at DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central on Thursday, September 12, 2019. Ruth Barker, MTT H&S Advisor said, “This award is a significant achievement for the company and demonstrates our continued commitment to promoting H&S in the workplace. It is a recognition of the importance of Health, Safety and Wellbeing on the company agenda.”
The RoSPA Awards scheme, which receives entries from organisations around the world, recognises achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
Headline sponsor of the RoSPA Awards 2019 is NEBOSH – the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health – for the 14th consecutive year.
