The Role

The Part-Time Financial Controller will take responsibility for the day-to-day financial control environment and for providing clear, accurate reporting to the leadership team. Key areas include:

• Monthly management accounts and performance reporting.
• Cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
• Job costing and margin analysis on key service lines.
• Support with budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
• Liaison with external accountants and professional advisers.
• Improving financial processes, controls, and systems as the business scales.

Who We Are Looking For

This role is ideal for an experienced Finance Manager or Financial Controller seeking a part-time position within a technical, service-led environment. Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or professional services will be an advantage. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, commercial awareness, and the ability to communicate clearly with non-finance colleagues are essential.
